Review:
The hard working Important Corestyle label is back with traxx that will never fade away. It's got tons of interesting fills, melodies and it's just full of hardcore entertainment.
In my previous & most recent written review, I might of mentioned Stocker as he sort of stuck out in my mind however I never knew he has this much talent and potential. And yes, I'm talking about A1 especially. Before I get into descripting the songs I would like everybody to give a round of applause for Stocker. (Donnie claps his hands).

Why you ask?
Very simple: Funkmachine EP has been very well composed and easy to recognize in terms of quality and effort. I don't know how long Stocker took in getting this ready but I sure hear dedication and once again, that effort of wanting perfectionism.

This release also features two top notch hardcore stars such as Broken Rules and The Illuminati. Many thnx to the Important Corestyle productivity as they managed to give us some inside scoops with youtube demostrations in preview mode format. For that, I'll keep this nice & neat with my most honest opinions as we all know, nothing is perfect in life. And that's why I'm thinking neither is A1. although I've listened to it about a million times already.

And here it goes:

A1. Stocker - Away From Reality
The beginning is wonderful. A random feeling as you're oblivious to the genre giving you this far away vibe. From what you ask? The progressivehardcore that happens right after the very first 21 seconds. But that's
nothing. 2:17 is just super niccceeeee. And then the killer kick drum on top. The only non-perfect thing to me in this track is that you get very easily lost when you don't follow the duration as this song is set on a loop. Not bored but rather lost.

Away From Reality makes it a great title tho.

A2. Stocker - See The Dark
Once again, the beginning has an interesting vibe giving me the impression that this isn't hardcore. But indeed it is. Listening to the next breakdown in this song defines Stockers technique  for sneaky breakdown attacks that come up with rises. Whaat??!!
3:03 just ownz this track. Right before I was gonna say "neeh, not this song" Unfortuantely I cannot do that anymore. It's just that good!!. This is the kind of song you want to take with you when you're sent on a mission that will take two years of physical labor. Especially when the beat is kicking. "But it's to horrible to describe". Nice vocal samples too.

B1. Stocker - Funkmachine
Just like the title of this EP album, Funkmachine is probably my favorite out of the three featured by him.
Let's hear here. Yeah!. Indeed. Me like this very much so HU HA HA HAAAA!!
Now I'm definitely in the party mode (donnie looks up events). This song has me actually waving my hands in the air eheh.

B2. Broken Rules Remix - Funkmachine
This guy never fails with his raw & progressive sound.
The beginning brings in the hardtechno flow as the cymbals get us prepared. I wasn't able to catch the voice sample of what happened there but the kick is like saying "yes this is what we're bouncing on now". Oh damn, yeah, this is sicknezz to the ears. This track pounds keeping me in the hardcore party zone. I give it 3,9 out of 5.

B3. Stocker ft. The Illuminati - Dependent On Machines
I like how drum kick gets jabby at times. This song actually has a lot going on and it's super busy with chaos & distortion.
I'm not to crazy about the melody part but the dropping kick is super raw. Listening to this song in a loop is also neat. It's a good song due to it's original sound of the kick.
Also reminds me a bit of DJ Promo's sound & his kixx.

Now I feel like day one when I started listening to hardcore and my friends told me "trust me mang, this is sum good shizzle" while I was being like "Oh my gosh you're so true!!" So revolutionary too. Expressions of thought through electronic gear & synthesisers. It is then, when words become unnecessary, substituted & replaced by modern kids with tweaking trixx like magic (card tricks through the sleeve).

Stay tuned for more hardcore music action, or should I say more hardcore writting about music action?
Either way, you catch the drift.

Now let's party!!!

Tracklist:
A1 Away From Reality
A2 See The Dark
B1 Funkmachine
B2 Funkmachine (Broken Rules Remix)
